Dental implants are becoming an increasingly common dental treatment. We want our patients to benefit from this treatment option, allowing gaps to be restored without the need to use destructive bridges or dentures.

We cooperate closely with a neighbouring practice to provide this treatment, using the surgical skills of my colleague Dr Neeraj Puri for the placement of the implant at his practice Intergrated Dental Care in Manor Place.

Placement of the finished restoration is completed at Morrison St once healing has completed. By having two dentists focussed on your case, we are confident of giving the best result possible.

Neeraj Puri qualified in Glasgow in 1996. He moved to Edinburgh the same year; working with many notable dentists to develop his skills.

Neeraj has been restoring implants since 2000 and was awarded a Certificate in Implantology from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. His expertise in working in one of the few clinics in Scotland that uses many different systems of implants, enables him to use the best products tailored to each individual patient’s needs. Neeraj travelled to America to undergo training in sinus lifts, block bone grafting, soft tissue grafting and periodontal plastic surgery procedures. Many of these can be accomplished using a laser, minimising trauma and enhancing healing. Most of these treatments are available under local anaesthetic or even intravenous sedation.
